The Dynamic Flow of Nursing and Society: A United Kingdom PerspectiveSchool of Health, Suffolk College; Specialist Surgery Directorate, Ipswich Hospital, National Health System Trust, Suffolk, United Kingdom Society and the definition of health are dynamically fluid. The skill for nursing is to be involved in this process of growth. The process of change provokes one into examining issues from various perspectives. It requires reflection, questioning, and dialogue to develop solutions. Could the developments launched in the United Kingdom (specific focus England) advance intentional care to the fore? Can the deeper ontological root of nursing be brought into the human development of becoming whole? In this column, the author seeks to examine some of these questions.
