Nursing in KoreaHunter College, City University of New York, New York, sbaumann{at}hunter.cuny.edu Nursing in Korea with support from the federal government is shifting focus to better address the needs of an aging population, in particular the increasing number of persons with dementia. The family in Korea is struggling to balance family caregiving obligations with the demands of employment in a competitive world economy. Nurses are in an ideal position to not only teach families how best to assist family members with dementia but also how to find meaning in caregiving.
